Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Last updated: June 2026

This page is for California residents exercising their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Residents of other states with similar privacy laws may also use this page.

Do we sell personal information?

No. American Power Direct does not sell your personal information to third parties for money or any other consideration. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.

What we do share — and why

Running an e-commerce store requires us to share limited data with service providers in order to fulfill your order:

  • Freight carriers receive your name and delivery address to deliver your order.
  • Shopify, our e-commerce platform, processes and stores order data on our behalf.
  • Payment processors handle card transactions. We do not store payment card data.

These disclosures are operational, not commercial. None of these parties receive your data for their own marketing use.

Your rights under the CCPA

  • Right to know — You can request a summary of the personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete — You can request that we delete your personal data, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to opt out — Since we do not sell personal data, there is nothing to opt out of. But you can still request that we confirm this in writing.
  • Right to non-discrimination — Exercising any of these rights will not affect your ability to shop with us or receive service.

How to make a request

Email info@americanpowerdirect.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and describe what you are requesting. We will respond within 45 days as required by the CCPA.
